My mission. Influence and impact. Not just with making wise business or money decisions. Influencing others to show big love and make meaningful impact is part of the journey.
April 2023, we took our first life-changing journey, taking part in helping families achieve their dream of owning a home. And we’ve doing it each May ever since.
What we may have lacked in brute strength, we made up for in sheer will. We didn’t speak much Spanish, but we communicated through our desire to give back to a cause bigger than ourselves.

About Esperanza International
Esperanza International (EI) was founded in 1985 in the US as a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Together with our Mexican partners, we offer service-learning immersion trips where volunteers help strengthen cross-border relationships and community while building homes.
Volunteers also have the opportunity to authentically engage in the unique border culture of Tijuana, Mexico, through the eyes of its own residents.
